EMA provides a full spectrum of expert IT services to government and private industry clients worldwide. Our teams of software engineers, computer scientists, systems analysts, and information assurance and GIS specialists work in support of both on and off-site products and programs out of EMA and client facilities nationwide. EMA's technology center in Lexington Park, Maryland, in use since 2001, also provides an ideal setting for technology development and demonstration, boasting three fully-equipped engineering labs for on-site development, integration, and testing; two secure, or classified, labs; a technology demonstration room; two large conference rooms; several smaller team rooms; and guest offices.
Our personnel also provide on-site support for clients at NAS Patuxent River, specifically the Enterprise Solutions Program Office (ESPO), the Information Management Department (IMD), and the Shore Station Management Center (SSMC). Additionally, EMA's technology and aviation systems experts collaborate with the Aviation Systems personnel on a number of aircraft-related projects and programs such as the Tactical Aircrew Combat Training System (TACTS), TACTS Airborne Subsystem Software Support Activity (TAS SSA), and Tactical Training Range Wide Area Network (TTRWAN), as well as on various range engineering and simulation software development efforts.
