" I didn't know it then, but EMA would turn out to be the perfect place to expand my horizons and jumpstart my career...I've had so many great opportunities," Jodi said, recounting how she's advanced to Technology Solutions Business Manager since starting as a Receptionist about eight years ago.

"Shortly after moving into the area, I heard about EMA through a friend and decided to apply. With the company's focus being information technology and engineering and my degree being in Political Science, I started out as a Receptionist. But I was never pigeonholed," Jodi said. "Later that same year, I moved on to become a Supply Technician…and less than a year after that, I was encouraged to apply for an Associate Analyst position within the GIS Department."

But Jodi didn't stop there. She went on to become a GIS Analyst, and then recently moved into her current position as Technology Solutions Business Manager with responsibility for overseeing all program, financial, and resources management-related personnel and tasking to support program managers and task leaders within EMA's Technology Solutions Division.

"It's been great to work in support of so many amazing and far-reaching technologies - from Geographic Information Systems to Automated Logistics and Information Assurance…and greater still to be a part of the Technology Solutions group at EMA," Jodi said.
