Planning, directing, and controlling the totally integrated engineering effort of a system is all in a day's work for EMA's systems engineers. We can transform an operational need into a description of system requirements and plan, evaluate, direct, and execute the management of your most complex information technology, aviation, or Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance, and Targeting (C4ISRT) programs. In the last 18+ years, our team has demonstrated the know-how to provide engineering, technical, and management support for the Department of Defense (DoD), other government agencies, and international customers. See for yourself how EMA can apply our systems engineering expertise to meet your requirements.

Systems/Software Engineering

It didn't take long for EMA's systems engineering professionals to realize that the best approach to software engineering is one based on discipline in software development and the use of defined software development processes.  With each development effort, we tailor our support to the requirements of the task, performing all the activities necessary to support the translation of a customer's need into a hardware or software product.

Using multiple development environments such as C/C++, Ada, Metaware C, and assembly languages, our engineers successfully develop and maintain software. They've written AIS/AISI software in PLM86 and ASM86 to provide aircraft inertial, weapons, and threat data, as well as test station software and test bed software in C to develop specific system test beds.

Our in-depth knowledge of management practices and regulatory requirements applies not only to life-cycle software development and maintenance activities, but also to the software planning, acquisition, qualification, and system integration of DoD Automated Information Systems (AIS); Command, Control, Communications, and Intelligence (C3I) Systems, and Weapon Systems.
