A premier Navy contractor, EMA has provided specialized support to the United States Navy throughout its entire 22-year history. And while many things have changed during that time including our focus from primarily program management to information technology (IT) and engineering services two things have remained the same: the excellent rapport we enjoy with our many Navy customers and our proven record of exceptional contract performance.
As our customer relationships have evolved and grown, EMA has become recognized as a company focused on the needs of the Navy. Ranked as one of the Navy's top 50 contractors overall, our customers rely on our Navy experience, program knowledge, and systems expertise to meet their challenges and ensure that their programs support the needs of the warfighter, particularly as they relate to Department of Defense (DoD) transformation efforts. And it shows. Our current customer base, nearly three-quarters Navy, includes most of our original customers, who have enjoyed 22 years of continuous support. EMA also demonstrates its support of DoD transformation efforts by leveraging its vast Navy experience to support the requirements of the Marine Corps, Army, and other military branches as well.
Working under our two corporate business areas - Aviation and Command, Control, Communications, Computers, and Intelligence (C4I) - our personnel provide system-specific solutions for aircraft, shipboard, shore-based, and C4I systems and programs under numerous contract vehicles including our General Services Administration (GSA) schedules. Our Navy clients include the Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR); Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR) Systems Center Charleston (SSCC); Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft and Weapons Divisions (NAWCAD/NAWCWD); Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC); and Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA), just to name a few. We support these and our other Navy clients both on-site and from our corporate offices in Patuxent River, Maryland; Charleston, South Carolina; Norfolk, Virginia; and Ridgecrest, California, all of which are strategically located near key client sites.
EMA provides its Navy clients with cutting-edge expertise in the areas of information assurance (IA) and IT security (ITSEC), systems and software engineering, test and evaluation, geographic information systems (GIS), enterprise resource planning (ERP), automated logistics systems (ALS) and automatic identification technology (AIT), Oracle database programming and administration, network and communications systems design, modeling and animation, and program, financial, logistics, and acquisition management.

At EMA, we demonstrate our commitment to the success of these and many other Navy programs by working side-by-side with our customers to ensure we provide the human and technological resources they need where and when they need them. We look forward to continuing and expanding our role supporting these critical areas, as well as exploring new opportunities to contribute our capabilities to additional projects and programs as needs are identified.
